It's the time of year when we give thanks for all that is good in our lives. I can't help but think of Sidney Rice's good fortune in 2009. He's now a prime-time player on a 9-1 playoff-bound team. He has a quarterback who gives him a chance to get the ball on any play and when scrambling, Brett Favre's more likely to throw it than run it. That means a gift for Rice on any broken play.
The way I see it, Rice is a dangerous threat which translates into thankfulness today and tomorrow (in contract coin).
Yes, 2009 is a resurgence for Rice. If you haven't noticed, he's third in the NFL, yes THIRD in receiving yards (he's 21st in receptions which shows how well he's doing with his catches).
There are many who should be thankful in '09 but for me Rice is the most noteworthy. Who's your choice?
