Sunday evening, after the Vikings loss to the Bears, I spent some time wondering what it would be like to be a normal person. I'm pretty sure a normal person could watch a football game and acknowledge the outcome of the game, just like the ending of a movie, was going to be what it was. The normal person probably wouldn't even wonder if something they could have done would might have influenced the ending. The normal person definitely wouldn't believe that traditions, rituals or superstitions would have any impact on an event taking place a thousand miles away.
I am not a normal person. Thankfully, neither is my wife.
I am not a big fan of Bud Light, but those commercials pointing out "It’s only weird if it doesn't work" are spot on. And hilarious. I just wish it would work more often.
